On the weekends, they worked on a project together with some workers. Later on, the busy couple realized that it was not an ideal setup. This convinced Jasmine to leave her corporate job and work full-time on the construction of their home.

Their home was finally finished in 2013. In that same year, she also established Built Custom Homes. The company’s first sale was the house that they built on the adjacent property. Through the years, she gained more clients, and her portfolio grew.

As she worked on her projects, she would post videos of the construction in progress. One of her projects was a California beach house. She used the hashtag “#beachbuild” on her social media videos.

This caught the attention of HGTV, and they hired her to do a show on building beach houses. However, that project did not push through. Jasmine decided to hire a professional crew to film her while working on her projects. She aimed to get the attention of HGTV once again.

Brett Roth is the husband of Jasmine Roth. They first met as students at Northeastern University in Boston. Both of them were taking a course in entrepreneurship at that time.

They were roommates at university. Both of them were in a relationship with other people at that time.

They only realized that they liked one another when Jasmine’s grandmother came to visit her. She was the one who pointed out that Jasmine and Brett would make a great couple.
