David Bromstad’s Siblings and Parents. Does he have a Twin Brother?

David Bromstad is the host of HGTV’s Beach Flip and Colour Splash. He got both gigs because of his keen eye when it comes to home design and decor.

These were skills Bromstad developed as an illustrator and employee at the Disney Company. After he was put on administrative leave by the higher-ups, David decided to launch his own company.

Siblings

David Bromstad grew up alongside three other siblings: Dyonne, Dean Richard, and Dynelle Bromstad. By all accounts, their parents had a fascination with the letter ‘D.’ Interestingly, David is the youngest of all four children in the family.

Though not as famous, some of his siblings have also been featured on television. For instance, his older sister, Dyonne, appeared in an episode of My Lottery Dream Home.

His other siblings would also follow suit, featuring on the same show. If it’s not obvious, David and his siblings are pretty close.

They grew up watching Disney cartoons together, initially pushing Bromstad towards a career in the arts. He and his sister would even launch DragonFly Designs.

Simply put, David Bromstad doesn’t have a twin brother. He does, however, have an older brother, Dean Richard Bromstad, whom he closely resembles.

This, and the fact that he appeared on HGTV’s Brother vs. Brother, led sources to speculate that David also had a twin brother. Drew and Jonathan Scott, who are actual twins, also appear on the show. As such, sources and fans alike got slightly confused when David was thrown into the mix.

Parents

David Bromstad is the son of Richard Harold and Diane Marlys Bromstad. His mother, Diane, has Swedish and German roots, whereas his father is originally from Norway.

Suffice it to say, David and his parents are very close. On Mother’s Day in 2021, David posted a picture alongside his mother on Instagram.

He described Diane as one of the kindest and sweetest women in the world. Moreover, David said that his mother was practically his best friend.

When Father’s Day came around, Bromstad was quick to shower his father with equal amounts of praise.
