21. Island Hunters

This home renovation show is a spin-off of another HGTV series, House Hunters.

However, on Island Hunters, new homeowners get the chance to visit some of the most exotic islands in the world.

In each episode, different families/couples will get the chance to explore three other beachfront properties.

At the end of the episode, they will have to decide whether they want to rent out a vacation rental or make a full purchase.

The pilot episode, which aired back in January 2013, featured a couple from Wisconsin who wanted an escape from the harsh winter.

Since this episode aired, HGTV has financed five seasons, with a sixth reportedly in the works.

On average, Island Hunters has maintained a rating of 6.4/10.  This is mostly down to the remarkable narration done by John Beach.

Moreover, the show is also hosted by popular tv personality Chris Krolow.
